The Canaltime team are delighted to announce that we have been able to renegotiate the way Utility Fees are calculated to provide a much fairer system for everyone.
Previously, a flat fee of £155 was charged to cover gas, water, fuel and pump out, regardless of usage. From now on, the fees will be split into two – the utility fee will cover gas, water and pump out and a separate fuel deposit of £90 will cover fuel:
T1 Utility Fee – £47.50 per week plus £90 fuel deposit
T2 Utility Fee – £60.00 per week plus £90 fuel deposit
This new approach is designed to ensure that no-one pays for fuel they don’t use and in most cases, £90 will be more than enough to cover a week of usage. At the end of your holiday, the amount of unused fuel will be measured and guests refunded accordingly.
We hope that the revised charges will be of particular value to Members who are looking forward to using the new marinas as bases to explore the surrounding areas rather than cruising.
